A girlfriend of mine and I hiked a new trail yesterday called the Go John Trail in Cave Creek, AZ.
It was a beautiful 5.8 mile hike that took about 2 hours. I am living the desert at this time of year.

ReplyDeleteSo funny Heather. Actually, we were discussing why it took us so long and next time we need to speed up. There WERE people on the trail running.
ReplyDeleteNo way in hell will I ever be a trail runner. I'm lucky I can hike and talk at the same time. Too many ways for me to fall with running.
ReplyDeleteNearly 3 mph is a great pace. I will be really happy if we can get that in the canyon.
Maybe going down we can get 3 mph...up, not so much.
