Gateway Loop

It was a gorgeous overcast morning in Phoenix.

Some photos from the mist and me with my new hiking poles. I think my atms and back are going to be protesting tomorrow.

I will say that the hiking poles did help with going uphill.

4.4 miles in 1 hour 40 minutes. Not bad but not my best time.

    Thanks Kristina! I know you never thought I'd hike....it was just the wrong time in my life for hiking. Glad you can see the desert through me. :-)

    If you weren't hiking the canyon in September when I have to teach, I'd fly out there and hike it with you! :)
